About this speaker
Dr Chantal Naidoo has a career of over three decades in investment banking, development finance, and climate finance. She is the Executive Director and founder of Rabia Transitions, a non-profit research initiative focused on financing transition processes. She has worked with the Green Climate Fund, Development Bank of Southern Africa, Nedbank, and Credit Suisse among others. Most recently, she was the Lead Researcher for the Presidential Climate Finance Task Team tasked with negotiating South Africa’s Just Energy Transition Partnership and developing an investment plan. Chantal also serves as a non-executive Director of the Development Bank of Southern Africa and as a trustee of the Women's Legal Center.
