Dr. Moises Covarrubias

I am a Research Fellow at the Earth System Governance Project and WCEL with over ten years of experience conducting and communicating interdisciplinary research on just transitions, climate justice, and carbon policy.

My mission is to support the transition to a low-carbon economy by bridging the gap between science, law, policy, and business. I have published multiple peer-reviewed articles and technical reports on topics such as carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), urban nexus of water, energy, and food, and nature-based solutions for disaster and climate resilience.
