Marieluna Frank

About this speaker

Marieluna Frank is a research fellow at Zeppelin University. At the Chair of Global Governance, she is researching the role and power of non-state, predominantly commercial and civil society actors in earth orbits governance. In this context, she is particularly interested in issues of sustainability, the environment and intergenerational justice. Before joining Zeppelin University, Marieluna Frank worked as an assistant at the Permanent Delegation of the EU to the UN in Geneva. She previously studied international law, human rights and political science in Venice, Luxembourg and Constance. Through her research, Marieluna Frank aims to promote societal discourse on space-based infrastructures and their connection to power. Together with Luca Thanei, Marieluna Frank co-leads the Reading Group on Earth-Space Governance which is part of the ESG Working Group on Earth-Space Governance.
