Dr. Joeli Varo

Dr. Joeli Varo is currently the Head/Coordinator of the Land Management Discipline at the University of the South Pacific. This crucial role involves nurturing, training, teaching and mentoring future leaders through cutting edge knowledge. He has in-depth expertise in Geomatic, GIS & RS, Urban Planning and Disaster Risks Reduction knowledge in the South Pacific region. He has been working with governmental agencies, non-governmental agencies and institutions. He has a vision of contributing towards knowledge development at the very local community level and scale up to international level.
