Cille is a PhD candidate at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University in the Netherlands. As part of the ERC-funded BACKLASH project, she is interested in what constitutes the types of problems that activate and animate socio-political contention in relation to climate change and action. From brownfield sites to coal reserves and from wind farms to nuclear power plants, she is especially interested in the objects and environments that drive public and political life under a changing climate.
