Catalina Quiroga Manrique is a Colombian anthropologist interested in feminist political ecology and critical geography. Currently, she is a PhD student in the department of Human Geography at Lund University, Sweden. Her work is characterized by collaborative, community-based research. She received her B.A. in Anthropology in 2012 from Universidad Nacional de Colombia. After 8 years of research and professional experience on extractive projects, particularly agribusiness and mining, her doctoral dissertation critically examines the implementation of mangrove conservation and restoration projects in relation to climate change adaptation and mitigation strategies.
